Part-time research and administrative assistant to OSCE Special Representative. To support Peter Neumann in his new role as OSCE Special Representative on Countering Violent Radicalisation, ICSR is looking to recruit a part-time research and administrative assistant. The person in question would be working over a period of eight months, and be London-based. Responsibilities would include Coordination of administrative tasks related to my position; Research, especially on issues related to countering violent extremism, Support in drafting talking points and, in particular, the Presidency’s final report which will be published in the second half of 2017. The successful candidate would be paid ~£1000/month from funds made available by the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (which currently holds the OSCE’s Chairmanship). Required qualifications are: Great communication skills, especially English writing; Proven research skills; Keen interest in issues related to terrorism and (countering) violent extremism; A working knowledge of other languages, especially German, is an advantage, but no pre-condition.
